We offer countless materials to build your custom drums with. Including ply shells made out of maple, mahogany and birch available in various thickness of 5ply, 6ply, 8ply, 10ply; or custom made up to 50ply. We can install reinforcement rings in multiple thicknesses as well. Amazing stave and solid single ply steam bent shells of domestic and exotic woods. Custom made alloy shells made out of titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and bronze. Acrylic shells and carbon fiber also available in various colors.
Each wood shell is internally conditioned in our proprietary 3 step process sealer which enhances the fundamental tone of the shell and prevents moisture contamination. This does not increase the pitch of the drum like hard lacquers of other competitor's drums.
We utilize different bearing edges based to your specific sound. The secret to our bearing edges are the rounded flat apex to add the best contact to the head. Our standard edge is a double 45, but single 45 degree, vintage rounded, and 30 degree edges are all available as per request. All edges are first sanded perfectly flat then cut and finished with a proprietary sealer, polished and waxed for the smoothest head tensioning.
We can customize your shell selection with infinite color finishing possiblities. We offer dyes, transparent colors, fades, sparkles, custom paint scheme with Satin Oils, Matte Satin Gloss and Mirror Hi-Gloss topcoats are all available. Most wraps and exotic wood veneers also available. We also specialize in custom painted graffix or logos in multiple colors or effects.
Our huge listing of hardware options includes multiple lugs available, different metal and wood hoops for all sizes, only heavy duty snare strainers, different spurs, mounting systems and brackets. Most hardware is available in chrome, black nickel, and brass. We also offer powdercoating on all parts.
